If your looking for a vehicle that has a low purchase price and will save you money over the long term, the 2015 Nissan Altima is the perfect car for you!

2015 Altima

Vehicle Specifications:

This vehicle is very diverse in terms of different models and styles, along with some very impressive notable features. In regards to style you have a number of different options: 2.5 4dr sedan, the 2.5 S 4dr sedan, the 2.5 SV 4dr sedan, the 3.5 SV 4dr sedan and the 3.5 SL 4dr sedan. You would think because this vehicle is a sedan and more or less, family friendly; the horsepower would be minimal. Think again! The “quickest” version of the vehicle is the 3.5 SL 4dr Sedan and boasts a staggering 270 horsepower with a 3.5-liter (this is why its mentioned in the vehicle title) V-6. In terms of gas mileage, this vehicle is VERY good.

But, if you’re a savvy buyer you probably already knew that, sedans in generally seem to have better gas mileage than other types of vehicles. For the lowest horsepower style, the 2015 Nissan Altima has a fuel economy of 27 miles per gallon city driving and 38 miles per gallon highway driving. For the highest horsepower model, this vehicle still has a very good mileage. For example, the gas mileage is 22 miles per gallon city driving and 32 miles per gallon highway driving.

Pricing is also very important (if not the most important factor) when purchasing a new vehicle. The Altima’s pricing is very competitive when compared to the rest of the market. For example, the pricing starts at $21,031 and goes all the way up to $32,350. Even though this might be a little bit more than you were hoping to spend, in the end it all evens out. Let me explain, this vehicle is known to stand the test of time, meaning, you will be able to keep this vehicle much longer than any other vehicle in its segment.

There are also quite a few notable features in regard to this vehicle. First, this is a five-seat midsized sedan with a lot more space than competitors in the same market. Second, this vehicle is available in both four and six cylinder engines (depending on what you prefer). Thirdly, the vehicle has easy to understand alerts to inform you of anything “erratic” going on with your vehicle. And lastly, the Altima actually has an option to configure your cell phone to your vehicle so you can be 100% “in the driver seat” in regards to knowing everything about your vehicle.

The 2015 Nissan Altima2015 Nissan Altima Reviews:

From various online resources to our own findings, we have compiled different reviews and opinions from both experts and consumers who have ACTUALLY purchased this vehicle. There seems to be an overwhelming positive outlook which is a very good sign if you think this is a “vehicle for you”. Lets take a look at the pros and cons the experts have provided first. They love the power of the V-6, the front seat is incredibly comfortable for long drives, there is a ton of backseat space (much more than a conventional Sedan) and even if you decide to go with the 6-cylinder engine, the gas mileage is that of a 4-cylinder.

Any vehicle will have some “cons”; this is no different in regard to the Altima. Experts have described that the 4-cylinder motor “drones” when accelerating, they also noted the acceleration is inconsistent and finally, some of the interior materials could have been constructed and assembled better (doesn’t matter to me as long as the vehicles saving me money)! A survey was distributed to 38 consumers who actually purchased and are currently utilizing the Altima as there vehicle, the survey asked the consumers to judge this vehicle on six different variable; comfort, performance, exterior styling, interior design, value for the money and reliability. Lets take a look at how they judged this vehicle.

  • Comfort received an overall perfect rating of 5 out of 5.
  • Performance received an almost perfect, 4.8 out of 5.
  • Exterior styling received a staggering 4.8 out of 5.
  • Interior design received an almost perfect rating of 4.9 out of 5.
  • Value for the money received a rating of 4.9 out of 5.
  • And reliability received a 4.8 out of 5.

These results were determined from taking the averaged from all the survey takers and computing them to get these final figures.

How has the Altima Evolved?

From the 2014 Altima to the 2015 version, a lot has changed to say the least. Appearance wise, this vehicle has gone a complete “revamp”. The vehicle is now sleeker and has a more streamlined design; another difference from 2014 to 2015 is the technology available. For example, a new feature is you can connect your mobile phone to the vehicle and get alerted if one of your tires is low on air, or if your engine is overheating (VERY cool feature). The Nissan Altima came into production in 1992 and because of the wild success of this vehicle, its still being manufactured to this day.

2015 Altima Final Verdict:

There is a simple reason why this vehicle is such a good option. Let me explain, one of my very good friends has had an Altima for a very long time now (over 10 Years), when I ask him “why don’t you get a new car”, he simply says “this car just keeps running!” Now that, is the reason you should pick this vehicle. But, if that’s not convincing enough for you, remember the incredible gas mileage, low initial purchase price and sleek and modern design that make the 2015 Nissan Altima one of the best sedans in the market!
